Tina Watkins Scholarships

Value: Variable

Duration: One Semester

Eligibility:

  • Self-supported international students who are currently enrolled in the first, second or third semester as degree-seeking students at Texas A&M University.
  • International students comprise those who are not termed as a US citizen and hold an immigrant visa.
  • Applicants with good academic standing will be accepted for the scholarship. In other words, candidates must have secured a minimum cumulative GPR fo 2.0 for undergraduate students and 3.0 for Graduate students.
  • Applicants will also be required to submit a nomination letter from a faculty at Texas A&M University. 
     

International Education Fee Scholarship

Value: Variable

Eligibility:

  • International Students must be enrolled at the university in a full-time course at Texas A&M University.
  • Candidates will be selected for the scholarship fund based purely on their academic and professional merit.
     

Eppright Outstanding International Student Award

Value: $2,000

Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate students with a GPR of 3.00 and graduate students with a GPR of 3.50 are eligible for the scholarship fund.
  • Candidates must have extensively participated in extra-curricular activities on campus and in the community, with leadership positions.
  • Students also must have completed two semesters at Texas A&M University, excluding the current semester.
     

Bill and Rita Stout Academic Excellence Award

Value: Variable

Duration: One Semester

Eligibility:

  • Candidates who are termed as international students for fee purposes and have not received this award can apply for the award.
  • Students wishing to apply for the award must have at least 30 credits and a minimum GPR of 3.0.
  • Candidates must present a strong interest in promoting international relations between people of all cultures.
     

Shibata International Memorial Scholarship

Value: Variable

Duration: One Semester

Eligibility:

  • The award will be granted to one international student who is presently enrolled at Texas A&M University and has not received the award previously.
  • Candidates must have displayed a high academic standing along with showing curiosity and openness to people and traditions of other countries.
  • Students must also be active participants in different organisations excluding international organisations.
