Georgia State University is a public research university in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. It was founded in 1913 as the Georgia Institute of Technology- "Evening School of Commerce” and was renamed Georgia State University in 1969. Georgia State is among the most diverse universities in the U.S. It is recognised as the second most innovative university in the country by U.S News and Report.
