IDP IELTS India has revised the new IELTS exam fee 2023 structure. The latest fees will be applicable from April 1, 2023.
Test fee depends on the type of IELTS exams that candidates choose to take. Fees for both the IELTS Academic and General Training tests have been upgraded to INR 16,250 from INR 15,550.
The test fee for IELTS Life Skills (A1 and B1) remains the same at INR 15,350. The chart below gives a better understanding of the IELTS exam types and their corresponding updated fees:

The IELTS exam fee can be paid using a credit card, debit card or net banking. Payment can also be made via a demand draft drawn in favour of "IDP EDUCATION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, Payable at New Delhi" and must be from a list of approved banks. The fees in form of cash can also be deposited from ICICI/HDFC bank branches.
The fee is charged by IDP IELTS India for conducting the IELTS exam 2023 across major test cities in India. The IELTS exam is an English language proficiency test that students take to prove their English language proficiency to study, work or migrate abroad. It has four major sections: reading, writing, listening and speaking which is conducted over two days.
IELTS scores are accepted across major universities in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, etc. The exam is a highly efficient tool to test the English language proficiency of non-native speakers whose first language is not English.

IDP IELTS also charges fees for several other services they provide such as cancellation, transfer, re-scheduling, rechecking and IELTS TRF.
