Since it invites thousands of students to apply to its courses, interested applicants can start their courses through three admission intakes, i.e. Fal, Winter and Spring, each year.

University of Waterloo Application Process

Depending on the course you wish to apply to, including the level of education i.e. undergraduate or graduate, the application process may vary. However, there are general application processes at the University of Waterloo that you need to complete in order to pursue higher studies. • For undergraduate courses, applicants must present a minimum of 70-75% in the high school examinations or equivalent.

  • Each course will carry individual requirements, therefore, read the admission policies and requirements for your desired course before submitting your application.

• For graduate courses, candidates must have at least 75% in their 4-year Bachelor (Honours) degree or an equivalent

  • Each individual course will carry individual admission requirements for international students. Therefore, read the admission policies and requirements of your desired university before sending in your application form.

• All international students are required to submit English proficiency test scores as proof of language proficiency. Accepted English language tests include:

  • TOEFL iBT

  • IELTS Academic

  • PTE Academic
