Montana State University (MSU) is the largest public research university is located in Bozeman, Montana, United States. It was founded in 1893 as a state's land-grant Agriculture college. In the 1920s, the institution was renamed Montana State College. Finally, in 1965, it acquired university status and was named Montana State University. It is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. MSU ranks among the top 3 per cent of universities in the United States for research expenditures and is also ranked No. 263 in National Universities by U.S News & Reports Ranking.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

The Academic Colleges at the main campus of MSU include- Agriculture, Arts and Architecture, Engineering, Business, Education, Health and Human Development, Gallatin College MSU, the Graduate School, Honors College, Letters and Science and Nursing. Other educational centres of MSU are MSU Billings, MSU Northern and the Great Falls College MSU. Students have the options to choose from over 250 undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs offered at MSU. The Universitys Student Housing facility is provided in the form of dorms.
