Montana State University (MSU) is the largest public research university is located in Bozeman, Montana, United States. It was founded in 1893 as a state's land-grant Agriculture college. In the 1920s, the institution was renamed Montana State College. Finally, in 1965, it acquired university status and was named Montana State University. It is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. MSU ranks among the top 3 per cent of universities in the United States for research expenditures and is also ranked No. 263 in National Universities by U.S News & Reports Ranking.
Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
The Academic Colleges at the main campus of MSU include- Agriculture, Arts and Architecture, Engineering, Business, Education, Health and Human Development, Gallatin College MSU, the Graduate School, Honors College, Letters and Science and Nursing. Other educational centres of MSU are MSU Billings, MSU Northern and the Great Falls College MSU. Students have the options to choose from over 250 undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs offered at MSU. The Universitys Student Housing facility is provided in the form of dorms. Various amenities and facilities are available at the MSU campus like healthy and hygienic food, kitchen facilities laundry services, fitness facilities, full campus internet service, and various other recreation facilities.

Montana State University enrolled the maximum number of students at the university in the past 128 years of history for the Fall 2021 term which is one of the greatest achievements for the university. MSUs graduation rates also keep increasing every year, thereby, making it one of the desirable universities in the region for higher studies. MSU Alumni can be found throughout the United States and in 103 countries around the world. Every year, the MSU Alumni Foundation recognizes outstanding alumni for their success, achievements, contribution in different fields and their commitments towards the university through several awards.
