Applications Invited for University of Sheffield LLM Scholarships for International Students

In a bid to attract and reward the most academically talented students in the postgraduate law programme, The University of Sheffield is offering two international LMM scholarships. Eligible candidates will be awarded scholarships worth GBP 4,000.

According to the official website, two students who are recognised as outstanding students will be rewarded with a GBP 4,000 scholarship. However, besides being categorised as outstanding, the students must also satisfy other criteria. Outlined below is the eligibility for the University of Sheffield LLM scholarship for international students.

• Be classed under the overseas student category for tuition fee purposes.

• Must have an academic offer to stud LLM at the University of Sheffield

• Candidates should also provide an application number.

If you are interested in applying for the University of Sheffield LLM scholarship and find yourself eligible to apply, then you will need to complete the following steps to begin the process.

• Visit the official website of the University of Sheffield and search for postgraduate scholarships and fees.

• On the page for LLM scholarships at the University of Sheffield, aspirants will find the directions to apply for the scholarship along with the link to the application portal as well.

• On clicking the link, candidates will be asked to fill out a Google form link in a new window.

• Fill out the required information.

• Submit the form and receive a copy of your responses at the email address you provided.

In addition to filling out the application form, applicants will also be required to write an essay of 2,000 words on a given topic. This year, candidates are asked to write on the topic “Law alone cannot address all social problems. Discuss” for the University of Sheffield LLM scholarship. Candidates must submit their application form along with the University of Sheffield LLM scholarship essay by 11 June 2023. The results of the application process will be announced by the end of July 2023.

Along with this, the University of Sheffield offers a number of postgraduate scholarships for international students which is also available to prospective law students.
