• The applicant must be enrolled concurrently in an Undergraduate degree offered by the University of Melbourne

• Minimum 65% aggregate in the current field of study

• The candidates must complete a minimum of 50 points of University study including the core subject COMP10001 Foundations of Computing

• The prior academic performance of the candidates

• Students pursuing a major in Data Science, Computing & Software Systems, Informatics and students majoring in Computing while pursuing Bachelor of Design cannot apply for Diploma in Computing.

• Candidates currently pursuing BA/ BA Biomedicine/ BCom/ Bachelor of Design/ Bachelor of Music/ BSc from the University of Melbourne are eligible for Diploma in Mathematical Sciences

• Candidates already enrolled in BSc Data Science/ Statistics/ Mathematics/ Mathematical Physics cannot apply for this course

• Minimum ATAR score is not available for this course

• Students with Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Certificate, Karnataka Pre-University Certificate and Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Higher (Secondary) School Certificate can apply for Direct Entry Pathway
