New England Institute of Technology (NEIT), is a private university. Its main campus is located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The University was established in 1940 and it runs on a four-quarter per year programme at ten weeks per quarter. The president of the school is Richard I. Gouse, since 1971. The University, New England Institute of Technology is ranked 36-46 in Regional Colleges North by the US News 2020 edition. 

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

NEIT has two branches. First is Julian B.Gouse Campus and the second is Access Road campus, which consists of a single building covering 57,000 square feet and is located in Warwick, Rhode Island. With more than 2000 undergraduate students, NEIT is a popular destination for higher studies among international students. It offers various courses in technical areas, including plumbing and heating ventilation, nursing, occupational therapy, veterinary technology, architectural design, business management, criminal justice and software engineering, advanced manufacturing and shipbuilding. The East Greenwich Campus is the main campus for all administrative, residence, student services, and athletics. The campus' centerpiece is a 265,000 square foot facility, dedicated to medical suites for training simulations, technical labs, classrooms, and administrative services.

The alumni of New England Institute of Technology include academy winning actress Geena Davis, Mariela Griffor who is a poet as well as diplomat, Mark Lindquist who is a sculptor and many more renowned personalities.
