Lawrence Technological University, founded in 1932 with a vision to offer technical courses and prepare leaders and professionals for the new technical era. It is also referred to as Lawrence Tech or LTU. Lawrence Tech is a private university located in Southfield, Michigan. LTU is accredited by the ABET and NAAB that assures the quality of education in the field of engineering and architecture respectively. It is also accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Lawrence Technological University is ranked No. 37 in Regional Universities Midwest by US News & World Report. 

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses 

LTU’s campus extends across an area of 107 acres. The university has four colleges- Architecture & Design, Arts & Sciences, Business and Information Technology and Engineering to offer more than 100 undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and certificate courses. The university has high labs, state of the art infrastructure and a team of highly experienced faculty members who ensure that the students have the best learning experience at university. Lawrence Technological University provides a safe and secure environment by learning. The campus is under the surveillance of 24 hours security systems. On-campus housing facilities along with food are available for students. 

Accomplishments & Alumni 

Lawrence Technological University is recognised as the best university in Southfield to offer STEM and Design education. The university through its quality education aims to create s leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators. Some of the notable Alumni of NTU are  Steven A. Ballmer, former CEO of Microsoft, George Sierant, inventor, first successful rear-facing child safety seat, A. Alfred Taubman, a pioneer developer of shopping malls and Ronald Knockaert, inventor of laser barcode scanner and keyless door locks on cars. Along with this, LTU has over 30,000 Alumni around the world.

Lawrence Technological University has around 3,000 students representing 43 states and  48 countries. The student to faculty ratio at LTU is 11: 1. More than 1,000 students of LTU choose to live on campus in four housing centres, The university has more than 60 student organizations and 10 fraternities and sororities. LTU is committed to offering quality education to deserving students from around the world by offering students with financial aid. 74% of the students at the university receive financial aid which amounts to around $35 million annually. The success rate of graduates of LTU is high, as most students are employed within a month of graduating from the university. In a survey by Payscale, the Alumni of LTU rated their job satisfaction 5 out of 5 and “extremely satisfied.” The average starting salary of LTU’s Alumni with a bachelor’s degree is  $56,700 and the mid-career average salary is $106,400.
