Study in Northern Cyprus

Overview

Officially known as the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the country ‘Northern Cyprus’ comprises the northeastern portion of the island of Cyprus. It is unilaterally declared as an independent state and is only recognised only by Turkey. The capital city of Northern Cyprus is North Nicosia. It is also the largest city of the country. Northern Cyprus is a Turkish-speaking country. However, English is widely spoken by people and it is recognised as the second language of the country. The educational programmes in universities are also offered in English.

Northern Cyprus has a total of 19 universities among which only three are public universities and rest are private universities.
