How to Calculate IELTS Score?

The IELTS test is scored on a range of 1 to 9 bands for each section of the test – Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. The average score of all sections is the ‘overall band score’. Swipe to learn how to calculate your IELTS score.
The IELTS overall band score is rounded off to the nearest whole score. For example, 6.0 or 7.0 or half score, such as 6.5 or 7.5 bands.

Suppose you get 8 bands in Listening, 7.5 in Reading, 7 in Writing and 7.5 in Speaking, then your overall score will be 7.5 bands.
