Luther College offers its services as an education institution for two different levels, i.e. a high school and a college at the University of Regina located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. The college was founded in 1971 to offer extended course choices to a larger group of people in partnership with the University of Regina. It is a liberal arts college committed to providing the highest quality teaching and ensuring the intellectual, emotional and cultural growth of students. Luther College is a globally recognized college for its high standards of teaching, research work in the field of humanities, fine arts, social sciences and sciences. In a bid to offer expanded choices of courses to the students, Luther College had brought its university courses in a federation with the University of Regina. Being in a federation, Luther College students receive opportunities to choose courses from other Federated Colleges i.e. Campion College, FN University as well as the University of Regina.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

Luther College campus is located on the campus of the University of Regina while the high school is located at 1500 Royal Street. On-campus housing and mess facilities are available for all students at Luther College. Other facilities and amenities available on campus include a health centre, library, Olympic size pool, gymnasium and library. Students studying at Luther College will also be offered the option to live at the Luther College Student Village which includes the student accommodation. Luther College offers a wide range of courses with the most popular field of studies chosen by its students ranging between Arts, Sciences, Fine Arts (Performance), Humanities, Social Sciences and Fine Arts. Students opting to study at Saskatchewan’s small but influential university can choose from a range of degrees (Bachelors and Bachelors with Honours), certificates and diplomes at different educational levels, i.e. undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The classes at Luther College are organised in small sizes so that the faculty members can give maximum attention to individuals and better interaction can happen between professors and students.

Accomplishments & Alumni 

Students of Luther College receive the same benefits as the University of Regina as they receive a UR-stamped degree upon graduation. The college recognises its current students and alumni and also awards them based on their achievements and contribution. Kristy Bergman, a graduate of LC, was awarded the President's Medal in convocation based on her academic performance, leadership qualities and involvement in extracurricular activities. Another alumni of LC, Bergman was awarded the University Prize in Arts award for being the most distinguished graduate in the 2009 batch. Additionally, the small classroom sizes have helped many Luther College alumni accomplish great professional and personal achievements across different fields.

Student Diversity & Visiting Companies

Luther College has more than 600 students and 15 full-time faculty members offering their services under various courses which are accredited to the University of Regina. The rich Christianity culture, experienced faculty members and a state-of-art-infrastructure provides a unique learning environment for students to pursue undergraduate courses. Every degree programme at Luther College has study abroad options that allow students to get enrolled in study exchange programmes that can be attended at partner institutions abroad. Virtual exchange programme option is available and it has been expanded as a result of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Luther College will be offering students the necessary student support services including scholarship opportunities to help students studying at the college.
